Merry Christmas! Once again it’s time once again for the annual Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade. Come visit downtown Rochester and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season!

The parade was fine, but I was dismayed by the people who appeared that day on the roof of 440 S. Main; it appeared to be parents with young children, and it was disturbing to see adults bringing very young children into a very potentially unsafe situation. That roof is about 3 stories from the ground, all were quite close to its edge, and I could not understand why adults would be placing young people into such a hazardous situation, or whether the act was indeed illegal. Those responsible should be addressed appropriately. I did photograph the situation and have that as evidence of this strange behavior.
